After months of intensive fieldwork and analysis, our team gathered for the third project meeting, reflecting on incredible research across 9 mountains and 11 Natura 2000 sites! ⛰️ ✨
What did we achieve?
- 32 sites surveyed
- 104 butterfly species, 47 Orthoptera species and 227 vascular plant species identified
- 408 plant trait measurements and 128 soil samples collected
- 956 plant ecophysiological responses measured
- 55 livestock owners interviewed
Beyond the numbers, we had fruitful discussions and hands-on workshops on data analysis, spatial mapping, and policy, helping us turn field observations into meaningful insights!
This meeting was a testament to the creativity, dedication, and collaboration that drive our research forward. A huge thank you to everyone involved—we’re excited for the next steps!
