Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

We\u2019re excited to invite you to the 4th International\u00a0Rupicapra<\/i><\/b>\u00a0Symposium<\/b>, happening\u00a0September 25\u201327<\/b>,\u00a02025 in Konitsa<\/b>, a stunning little mountain town in northwestern Greece \u2014 right next to the country\u2019s largest chamois population (yes, we picked the perfect spot!).
\nThis is gonna be a chance for chamois people \u2014 researchers, conservationists, field folks, wildlife lovers \u2014 to get together, share what we\u2019ve been working on, and swap stories, ideas, and insights about these incredible mountain animals.
\nOver two days, we\u2019ll dive into everything from:
\n\u2022 Genetics and taxonomy
\n\u2022 Health and physiology
\n\u2022 Behavior and ecology
\n\u2022 And of course, conservation and management!We\u2019re especially keen to hear from early-career researchers, and we\u2019re all about keeping things inclusive \u2014 with a good gender balance and people from all over the map. Because collaboration only works when everyone\u2019s at the table.<\/p>\n

Also, the symposium is backed by the IUCN Caprinae Specialist Group, so you know it\u2019s legit!<\/p>\n

The event\u2019s happening at the Konitsa Municipality Event Hall. The website\u2019s online! And you can also catch updates on our Twitter and Facebook pages.<\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019re into chamois (or mountain wildlife in general), come hang out with us. It\u2019s gonna be fun, and it\u2019s happening in one of the most beautiful parts of Greece.
